Yep. Today is IRS day. The day when those bastards get a little more out of me that I want to give. We always have to pay because I refuse to give the sons of bitches an interest free loan for the year.For those that don’t understand the way it works, if you get money back at the end of the year, you’ve just given the Federal Government an interest free loan for an entire year.
For those that do understand it, you probably had to pay or paid zero additional tax last year. See, we kept our money, did whatever we wanted with it, including putting it into savings accounts, IRA’s, etc. and made money from that money. Sure, we have to either pay a little at the end of the year or get nothing back. The up side is, I can smile a mile because I know I’ve just screwed those bastards out of getting an interest free loan from me. Do you think they’d give me an interest free load? Hell no!
I may have to pay the bastards, but in the end, I benefited a little from the transaction, even if they’re over taxing me in the process.
